How to hide and cloak affiliate links in WordPress?

Hide Your Referral and Affiliate Links Properly in WordPress

Hide affiliate linksThere was a time when people used to do blogging just to get their stories out in the world or for the benefit of the adsense program but nowadays blogging is all about promoting your products and affiliate links. Many people create blogs just to promote the products or services they are part or are affiliated with. But posting naked links on the blog can kill your commission or sale lead as many people try to go to the site directly or without your referral link. Some people simply don't wanna benefit others and they go to the site that you are promoting without using your link or removing your referral or tracking id. So if you are a blogger and using WordPress platform then there is a plugin that can help you get the maximum commission from every click and does not make your like editable.

This plugin is simple and small but can easily hide your referral links behind your website URL. The plugin also makes your link like a tracker link.for example if you are promoting a products with link http://www.referralsucker.com/david then this link can easily be converted into your own domain with tracking link kind of features like this http://www.yourdomain.com/referralsucker. So when a user clicks on the http://www.yourdomain.com/referralsucker they get automatically redirected to the affiliate link which is http://www.referralsucker.com/david. This way people who are reading and wanna use the service or product cannot edit your link and remove your link.
This also hides the website URL behind your own url so you can earn more and more commission on your affiliate links.
So to get started simply follow the instructions on WordPress platform. I will later share other methods to hide and cloak affiliate links on other places and platforms as well.

  1. Simply get this plugin and install in your WordPress blog

  2. After installation you can see this plugin in your admin menu in WordPress at the end.

  3. Hover over it and click quick redirects.

  4. Simply enter requested URL with your domain with end tracking code and destination URL with the affiliate link.

  5. Then share the requested link anywhere in the blog and when a user will click it will get redirected and the user will visit the affiliate URL.

There is no rocket science in this and this plugin is simple enough to be used, but if you feel that you don't understand anything or have more questions on how to hide affiliate links in WordPress site or blog then be sure to ask me in the comments.
