Blogger just keeps getting better and better for everyone around because of its SEO support, This is blogger's bright side but on the dark side blogger and specially Google is finding ways to torture its publishers and make the experience of fun more miserable. While recently blogger announced that it would end support of oEmbed in 2015. Now i don't know the whole version of the announcement but its clear that with the end of oEmbed it would be pretty darn hard to simply import posts and pages from your Blogger's blog to WordPress blog!


I tried it and was facing but maybe that could be a hosting issue. But if you wanna import important data from your Blogger's blog like Posts, Pages, Categories and other things that are important to you and you wanna synchronize or simply wanna add couple of posts to WordPress then this simple method is for you.
It doesn't require you to download and install any kind of plugin in your WordPress blog and you can actually get complete posts without any kind of advance knowledge.
But for this method of import you will need Blogger's backup xml file. How you can get the XML file from your blogger's blog? Follow the steps and get xml backup file from blogger. Note that the menu or features in this might get changed in the future.

1. Go To Blogger.com


2. Click on the blog that you want post to be imported from.


3. Go To settings.


4. Click on others.


5. Click on export blog.


6. In the little lightbox(pop out) that appear click on Download.

That is it this is the xml that you can import from to WordPress blog or website but you unfortunately cannot import directly because WordPress cannot understand the blogger's XML. So you have to convert XML to WXR file. There is no software you have to download to do this or any kind of advance knowledge. Simply visit the site below and upload the file and convert the file!

Now that you have a WXR file follow the steps below and import posts and pages from Blogger's XML file to WordPress easily.

1. Go to WordPress.


2. Click on tools.


3. Click on import.


4. and now click on WordPress.


5. Upload the file that you just converted.


6. Click what you wanna import and then add an author or use your own owner information.

That is it and now you can see the posts in the WordPress site or blog and that are imported from Blogger. You can also use the plugin but that is giving some problems.
