But keeping your WiFi on even in the standby mode can be the stupidest thing that you can do. WiFi is the most power draining and battery draining thing and the thing! WiFi when in Idle mode or standby mode should be kept off in the smartphones to reserve the battery. When you wanna use the internet only then you should turn on your WiFi on your android devices. When using your smartphone have you ever noticed apps downloading and uploading stuff in the above task bar? Do you think this is one time thing only? No the apps in your android devices keep uploading and downloading things in the background without your permission and you wanna know why? It is because of Auto Sync Feature that is turned on to get the updates. You can get the updates when you use the smartphone or tablet but in the idle or standby mode why update and download things? When you are not using your phone why drain your battery? To save your battery simply turn off the auto sync.

04. Close Background Apps:-

Apps running in the background also drain battery as they are fully running and using your phone to the max. Check your background running apps by going to the app info in the settings and see what apps ran in the background. Close all the apps that you don't wanna use and don't wanna run! Running an app or game that you are not using is simply dumb.
